Lucy's first Christmas

On Christmas morning, we all woke up and had to wait for Philip, Samantha, Mark, Megan, and Max to show up.  To kill our anxiousness and tiredness we were trying everything.  Lucy saw a giant exercise ball in the corner and got really excited.

She loved it and was so excited to play on it with Daddy!
After inhaling her own sausage for breakfast, Lucy sucked down almost a whole sippy cup of water.

Opening up her own stocking...she was so excited about new books and bath toys!

Opening up her first Christmas gift.  She would tear open some of it and then would just get impatient.

One of her gifts was a ball that played music, lit up, and rolled on its own! Lucy loved it! She sat and played with it for long periods of time!

Mid-day on Christmas--everyone is super tired.  Can you tell?
More Cousin pictures! Doesn't little Autumn look just adorable as little Santa Clause?!
Lucy was much more interested in what Max got for Christmas.  She would squeal and clap her hands as Max pushed it towards her.  Sometimes you wouldn't know she is a girl by the type of toys she is starting to play with!

My little naked (because it was so hot in the house) girl.  Isn't she so cute?!
Lucy is wanting to stand ALL the time now.   She'll crawl over to people sitting, pull on their pant legs and try to stand on her own.  If she's can't, she'll just look up at you with those big blue eyes until you help her stand.

After all the gifts were opened, Lucy found tissue paper.  She had a blast ripping it into thousands of pieces.  After each rip, she would squeal so loud!

Christmas Eve

Philip, Samantha, and baby Autumn got to to come down on Christmas Eve and we all were so excited to see them  Daddy got to hold Autumn and we both were so amazed how tiny she is. She was five weeks when we saw her and weighed 7 pounds!
Cousin picture time!  Grandma picked out some really cute outfits for them to wear.  Aren't they so cute?!

Trying to get pictures with three children is almost impossible, but everyone still looks pretty cute :)
After pictures, Lucy was DONE wearing a dress.  She can't crawl in dresses so she gets pretty ticked off wearing them.  So before putting on her jammies, she got to crawl around in her diaper for a while.  Her and Max played underneath the high chair for quite a while!

Max was really confused why Lucy wasn't wearing any clothes. He kept wanting to touch her and pull at her diaper
Lucy was SO happy to just be in her diaper and to be able to play with Max.  She was squealing and clapping!

Lucy saw Philip and Samantha's dog in the window and decided that it was much better if she could look at dogs without them trying to lick her.
When we got home, Lucy got to watch Christmas shows with everyone before going to bed.  She's so sleepy.

Time with Friends and Family

It really was so nice to be with family and for them to get to see Lucy.  There were lots of times of just sitting around with family while they entertained Lucy.  Daddy and I got a nice break!
Lucy loved sitting on people's laps and snuggling--especially if they had an iphone and would play youtube video's for her.  While we were there, Lucy also started cutting her two top teeth and so this giraffe came in handy several times

Everyone loved getting to feed Lucy.  Lucy loved getting to show off!  This was the first morning that she got to spend with Grandpa because he had to leave for work early most of the days.  She showed him how well she eats and signs!
For lunch one day, Mommy and Daddy took Lucy to meet up with one of mommy's good friends that she hasn't seen in a couple years!  This time she got to meet little Lucy.  Lucy was hamming it up the whole time and wanted to sit on their laps.

After lunch we stopped by Uncle Mark and Aunt Megan's house to play with Max.  Again, Max had to show off all his toys with Lucy.  Lucy and Max would play in the play room for a long time entertaining themselves. This time, Grandma felt like she wanted in on the action.

After playing for a long time, she decided to snuggle with Aunt Bekah on the couch.  We are not sure if it was because she was teething and wasn't feeling well, but she wanted to snuggle LOTS while we were in Idaho--which isn't like her.  We were okay with it, though!

Day out with Grandma and Aunt Bekah

One of the days we decide to got to Twin Falls and have Grandma show us around the new hospital where she works.  Before we headed over there, we stopped for lunch
She loves being with Grandma and Aunt Bekah

Before heading home, Grandma gave us a great tour of the hospital.  When we first got there, all of the girls were in great need of a bathroom visit (along with a desperate need of a diaper change for Lucy).  While in the bathroom a toilet was flushed and Lucy FREAKED!  She now is so traumatized of public bathrooms that she shakes and starts screaming when going into them.  I realized how traumatized she was when I tried to take her into a public bathroom several days later to change her diaper and she started clawing and pulling a my hair.  It's the saddest thing to see her get that upset!
After a day out, we came home and got to play with Grandma and Grandpa's dog, Rory!  Lucy loves dogs and will start laughing and smiling as long as someone is near by.  Daddy held onto her and she got to pet Rory.  Rory was so good with her too, considering he is still a puppy.
